Abadan Bar throws a special Kingsday Edition with a known face at BAR: Palms Trax, also known as Jay Donaldson, is an English dj and producer, living in Berlin. He is known for his smooth productions and as a very versatile dj, drifting seamlessly between vintage house, (italo) disco, some UK underground music and a lot more genres, all in one dj set. He has quite the following with his monthly radio show 'Cooking with Palms trax' which is broadcasted on Berlin Community Radio since 2015. He grew up with parents that are very much into music and his dad seems to be pretty proud of him. "My father thinks it's amazing. Five years ago he was struggling with his health, which resulted in him being at home a lot. Soundcloud was his way to kill time, he turned that platform inside out and developed an obsession for L.I.E.S. Now he bombards ME with emails: 'Did you listen to that track, you have to check this, that etc'. He is obsessed with dance music. He has the complete discography of L.I.E.S. at home."
