On Saturday the 24th of June 2017, the tribe of Nomads Festival sets up camp at Riekerhaven in Amsterdam once again. This year's edition is something truly special, as the festival celebrates it's 5th birthday, or as the founders call it "Half a decade of love and music".
With an all-star team of artists flying in from the U.S.A., UK and Germany, the presented line-up is a mix of both international names and Amsterdam local favourites. Five stages will arise, with global music-platform 22tracks, the Lumberjacks In Hell label and partner Warsteiner each representing their own area in the “oasis 2.0”.
Whether it's Detroit hero Andrés, the multi-dimensional artist Ge-ology, rare-disco-gem expert Red Greg or local techno-duo Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff, the audience can expect loads of fire from nearly every corner of (electronic) music. Whether that's disco, techno, R&B, funk or Chicago/Detroit house.
The tribe started out four years ago with around 2.000 members, and has grown exponentially to a beautiful following in 2017. So far, Nomads Festival has seen nothing but sold out editions, proving that their gathering in the oasis seems to be finding the right audience.
The Nomadic market will be set up again too, with a collection of (inter)national creative brands, that fit the festival profile through style, collection and brand-values. And whether is completing a summer's outfit, or to just stroll around for a chill, this area is ideal for discovering new friends and brands.
